Description:

The Specialist in Management is our umbrella program for studies across all areas of business. This specialist offers a high degree of flexibility and allows students to develop a strong understanding of the key business subdisciplines while also gaining expertise in their particular areas of interest. Students in the Management Specialist can choose to pursue a Focus in one or more of the following fields: Finance, Financial Statement Analysis, International Business, Leadership in Organizations, Marketing, and Strategy and Innovation.

Each Focus requires the completion of particular courses that cultivate an advanced knowledge in the area. The Management Specialist will appeal to students considering a broad range of careers, including entrepreneurism, consulting, strategy, operations and human resources, sales, marketing, banking, or administration in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Due to the flexibility of this specialist, management students often elect to pursue a Minor in other fields of professional or personal interest in the Faculty of Arts & Science.
