A concentration in Political Economy at Concordia University of Edmonton equips you with the skills necessary to understand and analyze the major domestic and international challenges facing Canada today. In the first two years, you will gain an understanding of key concepts in the disciplines of both political science and economics as well as the role of markets and governments in Canadian and global society. In the third year, as a capstone seminar student, you will confront the major, real world policy problems facing Canada, analyze them and look for solutions to them.
If you have an interest in international affairs, you will also have the opportunity to participate in our campus Model UN Club which attends provincial and international conferences including the annual Intercollegiate Model UN Assembly held in Alberta each year. |
