Mechanical and Materials Engineering department at Queen's provides diverse opportunities in fundamental and applied research in all areas of mechanical and materials engineering. We are organized into four main areas of academic study and research. These are: Biomechanical Engineering, Energy and Fluid Systems, Manufacturing and Dynamic Systems, and Materials Engineering. The Department is also part of a joint M.Eng. program in Nuclear Engineering (UNENE) with the universities of Waterloo, UWO and McMaster and the Advanced Design and Manufacturing Institute (ADMI) with the universities of McMaster, Toronto, and UWO.

Additional Admission Requirements: | Applicants are required to have an honours Bachelors degree in Applied Science or Engineering with a B (73-76.9% or GPA 3.0).
