This specialization allows students to focus on the Environmental Geosciences while still receiving the benefits of an Associate degree. Students with an interest in the natural sciences and a love of the outdoors are particularly suited to his program. The communities that NWCC serve are all situated in areas that provide ideal field environments for students of the natural sciences. NWCC is committed to providing opportunities for students to incorporate field work and field based methods into courses that are part of this Associate degree. The Environmental Geosciences encompass a broad range of disciplines that allow students to develop an understanding of Earth's related natural systems and processes. Graduates will be well versed in atmospheric, hydrological, ecological, and geological studies. |
