There are many overlapping fields of study for geologists including: Economic Geology, Petroleum Geology, Environmental Geology, Geochemistry, Hydrogeology, Mineralogy, Crystallography and Petrology, Paleontology, Sedimentology and Stratigraphy as well as Structural Geology and Tectonics. |

High school graduation including 5 full credits at the Grade 12 level.
A minimum average of 70% over the following, with no less than 60% in each course:
