The study of the Humanities covers a broad range of ideas and subjects drawn from philosophy, art, literature, history, religion, science, and social and political thought. Through direct engagement with original texts, Humanities raises critical questions about the achievements and controversies associated with the human condition. The Humanities program in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is offered as a major, a minor, and a joint major with English; French; History; Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies; or Philosophy. |
