Africa is the world’s second largest continent housing a population of over 1 billion people speaking 1000 different languages. In coming to terms with this diversity, students in this program will engage with and explore ideas concerning African histories, culture, economics, political systems, artistic expression and belief systems. Students will analyze key themes occurring both within African history and culture while also expanding to assess Africa’s influence on global processes and development. |
