The need for expertise in international business is growing in Canada. The International Business program prepares students in Manitoba to meet the challenges of adapting to the global marketplace. The program includes a custom-designed foreign language component and work experience with an organization involved in global marketing. The program has been certified as an accredited partner of the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT).
Small classes are taught by a team of professionals who have real business experience. They offer innovative projects designed to apply international business theory through case study and discussion. Students will be given opportunities listen to guest speakers and to participate in relevant conferences, seminars, and other events. Student teams will work with a local enterprise to prepare a marketing plan for entry into a new foreign market. This plan will be evaluated by a panel of judges. |
