The MHSc program is geared to health managers and professionals who wish to acquire a graduate education in health administration. The program's modular format allows learners to complete the degree without interrupting their careers. The HPME graduate program offers the following concentrations leading to the MSc degree: Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research; Health Services Research; Quality Improvement and Patient Safety; and System Leadership and Innovation. The MSc program can be taken on a full-time or part-time basis.

Applicants are admitted under the General Regulations of the School of Graduate Studies. Applicants must also satisfy IHPME's additional admission requirements stated below. Normally, the equivalent of a University of Toronto B+ average or higher in each of the last two years of an appropriate bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Applicants are strongly advised to have some prior preparation in quantitative courses such as statistics, accounting, and economics.
