Training of multidisciplinary professionals who are comfortable in both biomedical and engineering environments, with focus on advances in medical research and applications of new technology in health care and biological systems. A research program created by the Faculties of Engineering and Health Sciences to provide a unique collaborative environment that leverages McMaster's existing expertise in medical sciences and engineering, and links current and emerging areas of molecular, medical and bioengineering research.
