Software Engineering is about application of science and engineering to the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software. The department offers three graduate degrees in Software Engineering: Ph.D, Master of Art and Science, and Master of Engineering. Gradute students in the Ph.D and M.A.Sc. programs are focused on advancing knowledge of software lifecycle from design, implementation, and testing to documentation and maintaining, through intensive research in their chosen area of interest. The M.Eng. program trains students to develop a level of understanding that will enable them to apply their knowledge and skills in the information technology industry.
