UBC Okanagan offers interdisciplinary graduate degrees (M.A., M.Sc., and Ph.D.) across a wide range of program options from the humanities and creative arts to social and natural sciences. Students may chose to complete a themed or individualized program. A theme is defined as an area of research with specific courses to further students' education in that area. Themes include: Indigenous Studies; Optimization; Health and Exercise Sciences; Latin American and Iberian Studies; Urban Studies. The individualized option builds a program that is flexible and responsive to students' interests. Individualized options include: Anthropology; Human Geography; Gender and Women's Studies; Biology; Geography; Chemistry; Earth and Environmental Sciences; Psychology; Computer Science; Mathematics; Management; Statistics; Physics; Economics; History; Philosophy; Political Science; Sociology; Creative and Critical Studies; Education.
