This diploma is a 19-week program delivered in-class. Diploma admissions are on a rolling basis. The diploma will prepare individuals for a career in Medical Records and Health Information Administration. Medical Records and Health Information Administration careers are projected to be one of the fastest growing occupations.
Employment opportunities exist in hospitals, physician's offices, clinics, nursing homes, and home health agencies. This program develops skills in medical office procedures, anatomy and terminology (basic and advanced), OHIP medical billing as well as customer service, computer applications and office administration skills. |
