Software engineers fuse the creativity of software design with the discipline of engineering principles. A relatively new field, software engineers perform a number of tasks including design, development (or construction), testing, maintenance, systems management, and the adaptation of software to address regional and language differences, also known as software localization.
The University of New Brunswick offers the Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering through a joint program with the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Computer Science in Fredericton. Years 1 and 2 offered at UNB Saint John. |
