The Graduate Diploma (PhD) in Gender and Social Justice aims to enhance the intellectual development and training of students already enrolled in doctoral programs at McMaster University by allowing them to combine disciplinary research with interdisciplinary scholarship from the fields of gender and feminist studies.

Additional Admission Requirements: | - Master’s degree with sufficient academic background and preparation in women’s, gender and/or feminist studies. Admission to the home department's stand-alone Ph.D. program. A doctoral thesis on a topic related to Gender and/or Feminist Studies. - B+ (B- for Engineering) minimum average, based on a full year equivalent of final year courses (3rd/4th level) relevant to the program
