The graduate diploma in health professions education allows candidates to gain expertise in university health professions education. It is offered in both English and French. In accordance with University of Ottawa regulations, examinations and assignments may be written in either one of the two official languages (English or French). |

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. To be admitted, candidates must have: an honours bachelor’s degree in Education or the equivalent (an honours bachelor’s degree in science, in health science or in a related field) and a minimum of at least 2 years of full-time teaching experience in a health related field in an accredited educational institution or in another teaching context (e.g., clinical supervision.) OR a university professional degree (such as an MD, BScN) or a graduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in science, in health science or in a related field. An overall average of 70% (B), calculated in accordance with FGPS guidelines. Proficiency in either English or French. |
