Description:

For working civil engineers seeking to grow their knowledge at the graduate level, the course-based Civil Engineering MEng degree is the ticket – especially if they prefer course-based learning and aren’t interested in completing a thesis. They can finish their degree requirements in as little as one year, making this program among the fastest graduate degree options. Of the degree's required 10 courses, a maximum of two can be senior undergraduate level courses.

Admission to the course-based MEng is the typical path for students interested in the thesis-based MEng. Students may choose to work with a faculty member to develop a research project in place of the program's final four courses. With an approved research project in place, students then transfer into the thesis-based MEng.

Additional Admission Requirements:
  • Letter(s) of Reference
