Centennial College's Hospitality and Tourism Administration Advanced Diploma, with a 50 year history of helping develop leaders, will prepare you for an industry that employs one in 10 people around the world. The Tourism Industry Association of Ontario data shows that in 2019 Tourism in Ontario was a $36 billion a year industry, with more than 200,000 businesses and 400,000 employees. Tourism HR Canada projects the tourism workforce in Canada will grow to 2.1 million jobs, exposing a labour and skills shortage in more than 400 job types in accommodation, food and beverage, transportation, entertainment and travel services. Now recovering from the impact of Covid-19, Tourism and Hospitality is once again one of the fastest growing global industries which means opportunity for hospitality and tourism graduates.

As the only three-year advanced diploma in hospitality and tourism in Ontario, since 1970 program graduates have become global industry leaders in diverse careers, from event experts and tour operators to destination marketers and hotel general managers. Many graduates also continue their education through enhanced mobility to leading universities. Curriculum will uniquely combine in-depth, holistic academic study with hands-on experiential learning, includes built-in breaks to facilitate work experience and culminates in a 14-week work-integrated learning experience in the industry. You'll also graduate work-ready with important industry certifications such as Smart Serve, Safe Food Handlers, TICO Travel Counsellor Certification and CPR.
