The M.Sc. program in Rehabilitation Science includes both course work and a thesis. Candidates should be aware that the completion of the thesis may take longer. Exceptional students may be considered for enrolment in a part-time program. There will be no residency requirement for part-time students. They must complete the program within five years, however, all course work must be completed within the first two years of the program. Part-time students must agree to an annual Learning Contract and must submit a Program Map (planned with his/her Supervisor) to the Department. Part-time students should be aware that it is the student's responsibility to modify her/his schedule to accommodate required course work as course times are not flexible. |

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Candidates for the MSc degree must have graduated with an average of B+ in the final two years of a four-year degree program from a recognized University, with a strong undergraduate science background, including a course in research design and/or statistics, and the equivalent of a four-year University of Toronto Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, or Physical Therapy, or a related field. Related fields include: nursing, psychology, sociology, social work, physical and health education, basic sciences, engineering, kinesiology etc. Evidence of written and verbal proficiency in English for applicants whose first language is not English is required (minimum standards set by the School of Graduate Studies).
