The Post-Master's NP Diploma is an innovative 20-month (Part Time) program designed to afford students who have completed graduate education the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills required to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
The Post-Master's NP Diploma consists of 4 courses, completed over a 20-month (part-time) period. Students will focus their studies in the area of adult or pediatric acute care. |

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Applicants must hold an MN degree or equivalent
Applicants must have obtained at least a mid-B standing (75% or 3.0 GPA) in the final year of their MN degree AND must have obtained at least B cumulative standing
Applicants seeking admission to the Nurse Practitioner field must also have a minimum of 3,900 clinical hours completed, equivalent to two years experience (placements as part of your BScN and MN degrees do not count)
Applicants must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse or equivalent |
