| The Department of Music offers professional caliber programs in modern facilities. The B.A. in Music provides a broad general education in the liberal arts combined with comprehensive music studies, with an emphasis in performance, which prepares students to undertake graduate study in music and pursue a career in music. Students receiving the B.A. in Music Education are eligible to apply for a Michigan teaching license in music, and to pursue teaching positions in K-12 general, vocal, and instrumental music. |
