The Criminology, Law and Society Specialist is intended for students who wish to go on to graduate studies in this or a similar area. The Major provides a broad foundation for students who may have an academic or civic interest in law, crime, and criminal justice. This might include: 1) students who at a later stage may wish to pursue more advanced work in areas related to, for example, criminology, law or social work; 2) students wanting to know more about the topics of the sociology of crime, particularly as these become issues of public policy. |
