The Master of Science program in MIS is a research-oriented program intended for students who want to obtain specialized education in Management Information Systems and the use of information technologies in business for the purpose of continuing their studies towards a PhD degree in MIS. These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent, with minimum average of 76% in third- and fourth-year courses and at least 12 credits in the field of study with minimum of 80%. Commerce degree with at least 15 credits in MIS and/or Computer Science; or Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree with at least 15 credits in Commerce. Students who do not have a background in business and/or information technology will be required to complete prerequisite courses. |
