Description:

Gain insight into social justice to support and empower individuals, families and communities. Community-based partnerships and research opportunities support you to develop an understanding of current and emerging areas of best-practice. You will also take part in workplace practicums to gain hands-on experience in the social service field while also building your professional network.

Prerequisites:

  •  Grade12 English 
Applicants are required to have: C+ in English 12 or equivalent
Test Scores:
  • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80]

  • Work Experience
Applicants must have completed 20 hours volunteer work and HSW Professional Reference Form, signed a Human Services Requisite Skills and Abilities document, and submit a 300 word HSW Letter of Intent for coming into the program and career goals.
