In our culture, as throughout history, the arts are deeply interrelated. We see this in the music and dance of folk cultures, in the visual art, architecture and music of church and court, and in the ultimate interdisciplinary medium of the modern world—film. For students interested in pursuing connections between and amongst the arts, SAMC offers an Arts, Media and Culture degree which allows for a variety of possible combinations of courses in art, film, music, and theatre. |

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. English 12 plus three additional Grade 12 academic subjects at a minimum overall average of 67%. A minimum grade of 60% or better is expected on the provincial examination portion of English 12. |
