Graduates of Civil Engineering Design and Technology program have demonstrated achievement of vocational learning outcomes which relate to engineering in general and civil engineering in particular that are necessary to perform their roles according to recognized civil engineering practices. This enables graduates to evaluate assignments, establish objectives, set parameters, and determine and implement appropriate procedures and actions. Graduates are able to adhere to applicable laws, to exercise due diligence in the workplace, to adhere to health and safety practices, and to work in accordance with labour-management principles and practices. Graduates are prepared to assume responsibility for their work and may work independently or interdependently as part of a civil engineering or multi-disciplinary team. |

Applicants must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, although provision can be made for those aged 18 years and older who do not meet this requirement to pass a qualifying test. |
