The world today is facing complex public and population health issues, such as improving access to health care, controlling infectious diseases, and reducing poor health behaviors, environmental hazards, substance abuse, and injuries. These crucial public health challenges demand a well-trained public health workforce. The mission of the Master's of Public Health program at McGill is to train outstanding public and population health professionals by offering a rigorous academic program in concepts, methods, research, and practice.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Applicants to the Master's in Public Health programs must hold a Bachelor's degree in a related area, possess a reasonable level of mathematical competency and have a good knowledge of differential and integral calculus at the level of a CEGEP or first year undergraduate course. Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA): 3.0 overall, or at least 3.2/4.0 over last two years of study. Proof of competency in oral and written English (see below, if applicable). |
