The Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) program at Western is dedicated to being internationally recognized for excellence, leadership and innovation in Physical Therapy education, practice and research through dedicated clinical, academic and professional partnerships. The mission of Western's Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) program is to prepare graduates for entry-to-practice as autonomous primary care professionals with the requisite competencies to provide leadership and service to individuals and communities within a complex, dynamic global health care environment. The Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) program prepares students for professional roles as clinicians, educators, consultants and researchers in a wide variety of practice settings (e.g., acute care, rehabilitation clinics, community settings) and is accredited by Physiotherapy Education Accreditation Canada (PEAC).
