Description:

Accounting and payroll administrators are valuable members of many businesses. The Accounting and Payroll Administrator program prepares students to excel in this in-demand career. The program places an emphasis on providing a strong foundation of general accounting principles, along with the specific, industry-standard software they will use in the field. Students will also explore courses in advanced accounting and business studies. Students get up-to-date training on the latest versions of today's accounting software, as well as general office programs like Excel, MS Word and Outlook. Students also complete requirements for the Canadian Payroll Association payroll certification programs, which give them a foundation of payroll techniques and principles.

    The minimum requirements for admission to CDI College is a high school diploma, unless otherwise specified in the program outline. Where applicable, applicants must provide proof of graduation at the time of enrollment or by the first day of class. Applicants who have not achieved a high school diploma can apply as a mature student. All applicants must provide proof of age and pass an entrance exam.
