The Event Management program at CDI College covers the tasks and processes related to the coordination, management and planning of events. Event coordinators and managers assume the lead role on an event planning team. Event managers hold key roles in financial management and resource planning, contracts and negotiations, and human resources management. They are responsible for the supervision of event coordinators, other staff members and volunteers in order to ensure the timely completion of each step related to the successful planning and deploying of an event.

The minimum requirements for admission to CDI College is a high school diploma, unless otherwise specified in the program outline. Where applicable, applicants must provide proof of graduation at the time of enrollment or by the first day of class. Applicants who have not achieved a high school diploma can apply as a mature student. All applicants must provide proof of age and pass an entrance exam.
