Indigenous pedagogical approaches include, students studying in conjunction with diverse Elders, cultural leaders, community, and ceremonial practices. Pedagogies are fundamentally rooted within Indigenous histories, storying, identities, and epistemologies. A strong focus of student learning is inclusive of historical and current social justice movements. Indigenous specialization curriculum is reflective of traditional knowledges and identities; including culturally relevant practices for example, decolonization, healing approaches, and Indigenous rights.
