Study human mobility in all its complexities and application and gain a deep appreciation for how we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Redeemer's Physical Education program teaches about movement from the perspective of physiology, anatomy, psychology, sociology, biomechanics, lifestyle and behaviour. Develop and share your love of sports, play and wellness through games, fitness and athletics.
Right from the start, small class sizes allow for meaningful class discussion, lead by professors who are actively researching in the field and excited to include students in their work. First-year courses provide foundational skills and knowledge in human anatomy, focusing on how the body moves and functions. Opportunities to learn about and practice unique ways of pursuing whole-person wellness through sport and other activities are central to the program and excellent preparation for teaching and leading others.
