Graduate studies in the Department of Physiology is a research and thesis- oriented program at the Master’s and Doctoral levels. Only full-time students are accepted. In order to complete the Master’s program and obtain a M.Sc. degree, a student must obtain a minimum of 49 credits, submit a thesis and have completed a minimum of 3 terms of residency. Of these 49 credits, 43 credits are compulsory courses related to research and thesis work (see list under Required Courses. M.Sc. students, in consultation with their supervisor, must then select 6 credits to be taken at any point throughout their program from 500 level or above Physiology or Science courses (see link for a listing of acceptable graduate level courses under Elective Courses). |
