Description:

Taught by experienced, research and industry-active academics, the BA (Hons) Media Production at Lincoln is designed to support students’ growth as creative media professionals and provides the opportunity to develop a range of specialist skills. The first year introduces students to a broad range of production areas and media forms, including design, photography, film and TV studio production, digital media, radio, and screenwriting. Students can choose from these and a variety of critical studies modules in the second year, focusing on areas of individual interest. In the final year, students produce a portfolio of major media projects in a selected area and are required to complete an independent research study.

Students have access to cutting-edge equipment and the chance to attend guest lectures from a variety of media professionals. There are opportunities for work experience, and students may choose to work on paid commissions from external clients to develop their own CV and showreel.
