This course combines theory and practical preparations for performances with training in voice, movement, improvisation, the director's role, a programme of Laban practice and make-up classes. You'll practice improvisation and acting for camera with guests such as Sean Gleeson (BBC TV Director).
Examine theatre genres and theory from the ancient Greeks to contemporary performance companies. Contemporary practice investigates the use of multi-media in a purpose built studio where you will work on live and mediated arts using film. Your contact time with tutors in lectures and underpining classes is 21 hours a week.
