Using several key themes, including environmental change and applied ecology, you'll explore how species interact with their environment and how that environment itself functions. Many of your modules include field or laboratory work to ensure you build all-important practical skills. You will also learn industry standard techniques alongside developing your advanced theoretical knowledge.
Our laboratories include key environmental analysis equipment, as well as up-to-date microscopy and audio-visual technologies. We also run residential field trips in a range of different environments including the Swiss Alps and Mankwe Wildlife Reserve in South Africa.
