Contribute to improving care practice while gaining placement experience with national care providers. The first year of this course will introduce you to the range of care routes available to you. By your second year, you'll begin to tailor your studies to your preferred specialisms. On graduating, you'll know how your specialism fits into the wider care-giving community.
You'll learn from practiced teachers who have a range of industry experience. Specialisms include mental health, learning disabilities and social work. The majority of your studies will focus on working on real-life case studies and care plans. This helps bridge the gap between theory and practice. You'll have the opportunity to undertake group assessments of inspection reports. High profile cases include the recent case of Winterbourne View.
