Description:

At Sussex, our experts are working at the forefront of physics, developing next generation quantum technology devices and working on the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider.

You study modules based on the latest research, from quantum mechanics to particle physics. You also explore the fundamental laws of physics.

Applicants are required to have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) 75% from 6 grade 12 U, U/C or M courses.

We also recognise the High School Diploma from other provinces -including Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick- where we look for strong performance in grade 12 subjects, and the Diplome d'Etudes Collegiales (DEC) from Quebec.

Evidence of existing academic ability to a high level in Mathematics is essential. Physics is desirable, but we will consider applicants on a case-by-case basis.
