CDI College's Construction Electrician Foundation program will prepare you for a position as an electrical apprentice. With training in the classroom, lab and workshop, you'll learn the essential protocols and principles of electrical work, including installation and maintenance of electrical power, lighting, heating and alarms. You'll cover the fundamentals of electrical work, use of hand and power tools, equipment testing, the Canadian Electrical Code, and safety standards and regulations. The program also contains a field study where you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside a qualified electrician.
