Our Midwifery Studies degree is designed to help you become a competent, confident and autonomous practitioner with the knowledge and skills to pursue a successful career. Learning from experienced midwives and gaining real-world experience in a variety of healthcare settings, you’ll be able to prepare to make a difference in the lives of women and their families.
Many different cultural, social and health-related influences affect child-bearing women. On this course, we know just how important it is for student midwives to learn about midwifery in context, to gain a broad perspective on the delivery of care and to be supported by enthusiastic lecturers who know exactly what it’s like to be a midwife. That’s why this course is designed by midwives for midwives. It’s also regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
