The American Studies and Politics programme aims to cover all aspects of American civilization, examining American history, literature, politics, society and popular culture, and issues such as financial crises, the role of the US and other powers in the shaping of the world, the future of political devolution, the impact of new media technologies on politics and society, the politics of post-conflict and developing societies, democracy and democratisation.
American Studies and Politics is a well-established programme. Students study six modules a year, 3 in American Studies and 3 in Politics. |
