International Relations is the study of global affairs, as well as ideas, interactions, and structures that affect almost everything around us. During your studies, you will learn about the causes of war and peace, regional and international security arrangements, foreign policy, international organisations, the history of international relations, British military and more. You will also develop a good understanding of traditional and critical approaches to global politics, from power-politics to the effects of gender and identity on current events. You will gain expertise on regional politics as well, focusing on Europe, the USA, East-Asia, the Middle East, African politics and more.
You will learn to interpret theory and text and present your findings and explanations through both written and verbal methods. This course will also equip you with key skills for research and allow you to develop both personally and professionally in becoming an independent thinker, preparing you for a career of your choice. |
