The Degree Completion Admission Option is the entry point to the UBC Dental Hygiene Degree Program for dental hygienists who have 30 credits of specified university transferable courses and a dental hygiene diploma/certificate from an accredited North American dental hygiene diploma program. Successful applicants will receive academic credit for three years of previous post-secondary education and must complete the fourth year of the Degree Program. |

Accredited dental hygiene diploma or certificate, with minimum average of 70%; or enrolled in final year of an accredited dental hygiene diploma program in North America. Sucessful completion of 30 credits of specified university transferable courses. Credits: 6 of first-year English, 6 of first-year Biology (Anatomy & Physiology), 6 of first-year Chemistry, 6 of first- or second-year Psychology, and 6 of electives. |
