This exciting new degree programme is aimed at those seeking a career in journalism, digital publishing or the wider media. Today, journalism is not just about investigative news reporting and writing. Often journalists are expected to have the skills to work successfully in broadcast, print and online production too and this course equips students to meet those requirements. On this vocationally-focused degree course, students will gain practical training in research and writing as well as broadcast, print and online production. Essential media law, an introduction to the workings of public bodies and politics and journalism ethics are also taught. |
