Nutrition is a contemporary issue that affects everyone; the link between what we eat and how healthy we are is becoming increasingly significant. We live in a world where the diet of an ageing population is key to preventing illnesses including diabetes, heart disease and cancer. The precise nutritional intake of sports people is also becoming more technical and exciting. The knowledge you will gain on this course, combined with our elective unit system, will give you the skills to pursue a career in nutrition, sport and exercise, health promotion or food product development. Graduates could also progress onto postgraduate studies in areas including dietetics, food innovation, research or public health. |
