BSc (Hons) Chemical Science is a five-year part-time programme designed in consultation with the chemical industry sector. As this course has a strong vocational element, a course requirement is that students must be in employment in the chemical industry. You will be taught through a combination of distance e-learning and annual residential stays at the University, with the content containing a high degree of relevance to the chemical industry. Ultimately, this full programme can lead to the award of two back-to-back qualifications: FdSc Chemical Science (normally achieved in three years, see seperate course entry) and BSc (Hons) Chemical Science (two extra years of study).
