The field of legal administration is dynamic and challenging. CDI College's Legal Assistant program will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to thrive in any law office. Students gain an understanding of the Canadian legal system and its practices. Family law, corporate law, criminal law and general law are covered. You'll also get a thorough understanding of legal procedures and practices and will gain hands-on experience through a practicum placement. Graduates of this program work in law offices, trust companies and financial institutions. |
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. The minimum requirements for admission to CDI College is a high school diploma, unless otherwise specified in the program outline. Where applicable, applicants must provide proof of graduation at the time of enrollment or by the first day of class. Applicants who have not achieved a high school diploma can apply as a mature student. All applicants must provide proof of age and pass an entrance exam.
