Criminology and Socio-legal Studies provides students with a sound foundation for the understanding of crime and criminal behaviour, the administration of the criminal justice system in Canada, and, more generally, the processes of social order and disorder. Criminology incorporates theory, research methods, and knowledge from a wide range of other disciplines such as history, political science, sociology, law, psychology, economics, and philosophy. |
