Combining AUP's liberal arts tradition with hands-on practice in film and video, the Film Studies Department provides students with a strong background in the history, aesthetics and theory of film, and introduces them to the practical arts of writing, directing and producing. This degree is offered in cooperation with the Department of Global Communications and also draws on courses from other departments.
In addition to all required course work a student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3, and write an honors thesis or complete a creative project. |
