This course is designed for International and non-UK students from the European Union. The Informatics degree programme has been designed to sit within the suite of top-up courses offered by the Faculty of Engineering and Computing. The Faculty has a long and successful history of involvement in the education of both European and Overseas students. A suite of top-up programmes has been running very successfully for 30 years in what was originally named The School of Mathematics and Information Sciences.
The Informatics programme draws on the range of computing expertise and module choice available within the faculty. That also provided the flexibility of access to the computing portfolio. Previous articulations with specific colleges had allowed the candidates to enter the final year of normal 3-year computing courses with appropriate previous programmes of study.
